Here's an overview of what we need and an overview to help guide you along before we begin!
1) What I need to get started
Your Logo/s
PDF, EPS or high res JPEG or PNG if possible.
Hosting Credentials
Your hosting account login and/or Cpanel username and password.
WordPress Login
An administrator login to your current WordPress site, (if you have one up already)
Images & Pictures
Current and/or new images and pictures you’d like to use on the new site.
Content
Page content and any updated verbiage/information for the site.
Brand/Style Guide
Brand style guide, colors or any specific design requirements.
These items can be uploaded via Content Snare, to your project portal or uploaded to your secure Google Drive or dropbox folder. You will receive step by step instructions on how to do this.
1) Content Snare
Content Snare is a fantastic tool for efficiently collecting all the content, images, and files we need from you. We'll use it to create organised requests with clear instructions, reminders, and progress tracking—keeping everything in one spot instead of scattered emails. (Email fans rejoice: you'll still get notifications straight to your inbox!) Once your project kicks off, you'll receive a welcome email with your secure link to upload everything easily.
2) Notion Portal
Notion is an awesome online platform for communication and project management. We’ll be using this to send messages, share files and track progress during the process. This will help alleviate content and images being lost in long email threads. Everyone loves email threads…right?! (Don’t worry you can still use your email. The messages will post directly to Notion!) Once your project is underway, you’ll receive an email to set up your Notion profile and we’ll be off and running!
3) Google Drive
Google Drive is a great online image/file sharing platform. This isn’t necessary for every project, but if you have more than 15-20 images for your website or if they’re too big to send through email or post on notion, we can use Google Drive. We can also use this to share important logins and credentials instead of sending through email. I will set up a folder for the project and will share the folder with you via email. You can upload all images and files there.
4) The Website Build Process
Designing a website, no matter how big or small, is an extensive process that can be overwhelming. To better help you understand what to expect during the design and development, I’ve outlined my process into 5 steps:
1. Getting organised
First we make sure I have everything I need to start working our magic. This includes your Brand Strategy Questionnaire & Website Content Planner full list of website requirements and any login details if necessary.
2. Mapping it out
Next I arrange all the website content into an easy-to-use hierarchical structure. I call this a Site Map. This ensures your website visitors can find what they need quickly and easily.
3. Layout & Design - Making magic
Then I start working my magic, designing your beautiful website concept and Home Page. I'll show you how your website might work in a browser and how your users will interact with it.
4. Development - Nerd alert
Next up I get my geek on, turning your gorgeous design into a fully working website. Once the site layout and design is approved, I’ll move forward with the designing the entire site, pages and add all functionality and plugins. I’ll make sure your site looks great and functions nicely across all devices and web browsers before moving to the final step. It gets a little techy here, so needless to say a lot of caffinated beverages are consumed during this phase.
5. Edits & Revisions
Once the site is ready for final review, you’ll be able to review each page and we can make detailed edits until the site is revised completely. I ask that you please review ALL pages to make sure all spelling, grammar, addresses and information are correct before going live.
5) Wrapping Up & GOING LIVE!
Once the site is ready to go live, all unnecessary plugins, pages, images and backend files will be removed. The new site will be backed up and saved locally, should it ever need restored. Once live, it may take between 24-48 hours for the new site to pull up on some devices. Some computers will need to be refreshed in order to see the new site, though most computers will see the new site immediately depending on the wifi connection and where they are in relation to the location of server that the website is on.
Your website logins and all credentials will be sent to you via notion or secure email insuring the security of your passwords. Though your logins and passwords will be saved by me locally, PLEASE SAVE ALL LOGINS FOR YOUR RECORDS AS WELL. Upon completion, you’ll receive a link to my “moving forward” page where you’ll receive tips and tricks on what to do with your new website and also information on my Maintenance/Security Plan which I highly recommend for all my clients.
Other Helpful Info
Communication
Baby Lion Design Co. is an online business. This means I primarily communicate via email, allowing me to take note of all design requests, stick to our deadlines and work as productively as possible.
In person meetings can be arranged but depending on your package, may incur a fee. If you’d like to have a phone or video chat, no problemo! Please email me so we can arrange a time that suits us both.
Opening Hours
The Studio is open business days 9am–3pm (Sydney time) excluding public holidays. I also like to take the occasional holiday or long weekend—who doesn’t right?!
I will let you know in advance if any upcoming leave may impact your project in any way.

That would be me! I’m Kimmie K. I’ve been a graphic and web designer for 10+ years, and I love helping my clients turn their dreams into a business and brand they love.
As well as being a bona fide branding expert and web design guru, I’m also a project manager, coordinating the services of copywriters, web developers and SEO geeks to help my clients share their light with the world.
