How I deliver your template

When you buy a template, I'll send you a link to accept it as a brand new Squarespace site. If you'd rather have it built into a site you already own, that's available as a separate install add-on, just get in touch (see below).

I aim to have every template ready within 48 hours of purchase. Unforeseen circumstances can occasionally push this out, and turnaround may be a little slower over weekends and public holidays. If it's been more than 48 hours, email me at hello@kimmiek.com.au and I'll look into it.

Your template arrives through a 3-month Squarespace free trial, longer than Squarespace's standard 14 day trial. If you move onto a paid annual Squarespace plan before the trial ends, you'll also get 10% off your first year (this discount applies to annual billing only, not monthly). Squarespace will mark a site for deletion if that trial is allowed to run out, so keep an eye on it: you can ask Squarespace to extend the trial, or move onto a paid plan before it lapses.

Once your template is in your account, it's yours to build on, and I'm not able to undo any changes you make from that point.

If you need your template re-sent (say, because of an accidental change, a missed 12-month acceptance window, or a lapsed trial), I can do that within 30 days of your original purchase for a $99 admin fee. After 30 days, you'll need to buy the template again.

Install add-on

The install add-on isn't an instant checkout option. If you'd rather have your chosen template installed into a site you already own, get in touch and I'll quote based on what's involved. Once that's confirmed, I'll build the template into your existing site rather than sending it as a new one. Because you're not receiving a new Squarespace site through this path, the extended trial and the 10% annual discount above don't apply.

Once we've agreed on the install, the same 48-hour aim applies, with the same allowance for weekends, holidays, and anything unforeseen.

I'll take care to leave the rest of your site untouched, but I can't be held responsible for any glitches or disruption to your existing content during the install.

If I'm not able to complete an install once it's underway, I'll keep the install fee, since that covers the time I've spent on the attempt, but I'll refund the template price, since you won't be left with a working template to use.

Support

I'm glad to help with anything related to the template itself: the install, the build, your downloads, and the files I've provided.

Anything outside that, like general Squarespace questions, custom modifications, or coding changes, isn't covered as standard. Email me and I'll let you know whether I'm able to offer paid support for it. That work doesn't fall under the turnaround below: it gets fitted in around my other bookings depending on availability at the time, and I'm not able to take on every request.

Refunds

All templates are digital products, so I'm not able to offer refunds or exchanges once a purchase is made. Have a good look through the demo, the features, and the FAQs before you buy, and message me first if you've got template-specific questions.

Using your template

Each template purchase covers one website. If you want to use the same design on a second site, you'll need to buy it again.

If you're building a site for your own client using one of my templates, you can't present or promote that design as entirely your own work.

A few things you can't do with a purchased template: resell it, claim it as your own design, or share the template files, graphics, or any included elements with anyone else.

The images used in this template are free-to-use stock photos sourced from sites such as Unsplash and Pexels. You're not required to swap them out for copyright reasons if you'd rather keep them, though I'd still recommend it so your site doesn't end up looking the same as everyone else's using this template. Each template's welcome guide links to its own image collection, where you'll find the images used plus a range of similar free-to-use options. You're welcome to use anything from that collection, but free stock image sites don't allow their images to be resold, so that restriction carries over to you too. I don't supply the images as a bulk download; the collection link is how you access them.

The template design, and everything I've supplied with it (aside from any stock photography and Canva graphics), remains my copyright. I do reserve the right to feature your finished site in my own showcase, sales pages, or on social media, purely to show off the design and how it's been used.

A few more things to know

You'll need an active Squarespace subscription to use your template, and a Canva account for the included graphics. Some templates may need Canva's paid tier for full customisation, so check the individual template description for what's included.

Your access to a purchased template doesn't expire, but I can't promise ongoing updates forever. Once a template is retired from the shop, it won't receive any further changes.
